Privacy Policy

MowoTerm is built to work without sending us anything. This page says what leaves your device, when, and where it goes.

Your vault stays yoursHosts, keys and passwords are encrypted on your device. Synced copies are encrypted before upload.

No trackingThe app has no analytics, no ads and no third-party trackers.

Quiet by defaultNothing contacts your saved hosts in the background unless you turn it on in Plugins.

What the app sends, and only if you turn it on

UpdatesApp Store builds are updated through the App Store. The app makes no update requests by itself.

Host checksOff by default. If you turn on the Host status or Host details plugins, the app opens connections to your saved hosts, or runs read-only commands on them once you connect, to show their state. Those servers may record it.

SyncOptional. Encrypted vault data goes only to the place you set up: your own server, a synced folder, S3-compatible storage or WebDAV. We cannot read it.

Crash reportsNever sent automatically.

Servers you connect to

MowoTerm connects over SSH, SFTP, Mosh or Telnet to the hosts you add, through the jump hosts and proxies you set. What those servers send is shown to you and is not sent anywhere else.

Data we collect

None. We do not receive data from the app, so we have nothing to share, sell or delete on your behalf. Your data is on your device: delete the app and its vault to remove it.

This website

This website is static. It sets no cookies, runs no scripts and loads its fonts from its own server. The host that serves it may keep standard access logs.

Children

MowoTerm is a developer tool and is not directed to children.

Your rights and contact

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to your data protection authority. Because the app sends us nothing, this mostly concerns messages you email us at [email protected].
