Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the MowoTerm app and this website. MowoTerm is made by Mowo Games.

1. The software

MowoTerm is free and licensed under the MIT licence or the Apache License 2.0, at your option. These terms do not limit any right that licence gives you.

2. No account needed

You can use every feature without an account.

3. Your responsibilities

Only connect to systems you are allowed to access. You are responsible for your keys, passwords and app lock PIN. We cannot recover a lost PIN, because we never have it.

4. Your own servers and storage

If you set up sync through storage you choose (a synced folder, S3-compatible storage, WebDAV or your own server), you operate that service. We do not run it and are not responsible for its availability.

5. No warranty

MowoTerm is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Test changes that affect many hosts, such as broadcast input, snippets run on several hosts and key rotation, before using them on production systems.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Mowo Games is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of MowoTerm. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Name and logo

The MowoTerm and Mowo Games names and logos are not covered by the open-source licence. If you publish a modified version, give it a different name and icon.

We will post changes here and update the date above.
